What is an löyly?
During an aromatic infusion, also called löyly or aufguss, the sauna master pours water enriched with aromatic oils over the sauna heater. The water vapour that arises is blown through the sauna and condenses on your skin. A wonderful warm blanket of invigorating aromas envelopes your body.
