Our swimwear days
We organize special swimwear days for everyone who wants to enjoy our wellness facilities, but not naked. For those who like to wear swimming trunks, swimsuits or bikinis, every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are swimwear days. On these days it is mandatory to wear swimwear. On all other days it is not allowed to wear swimwear.

For women, a swimsuit or bikini is permitted and for men, swim trunks. We allow swimwear that is suitable for use in the sauna and does not largely cover the body.
Why is body-covering swimwear not allowed?
During a sauna visit, your body temperature and heart rate increase. Body-covering swimwear restricts the body’s natural ability to cool down, which may lead to health risks.
Impact on hygiene
During a sauna visit, the body releases waste substances. Body-covering swimwear can retain and spread these substances, which is not hygienic for yourself or other guests.

Wearing underwear or lingerie in the spa is not permitted, not even underneath swimwear.
Why is underwear or lingerie not allowed?
At Hotel & Wellness Zuiver, hygiene and water quality are essential, as they directly impact your experience. That is why it is important to wear swimwear directly on the skin, without any underwear or lingerie underneath.
Unsuitable materials and residue release
Underwear and lingerie are not designed to be worn in water. Materials such as cotton are highly absorbent, retain moisture, dirt, and detergent residues, and release these into the water more than swimwear does.
Impact on water quality and filtration
Additional substances and particles from underwear and lingerie place extra strain on the filtration systems and can negatively affect water quality. By not wearing underwear or lingerie, the water remains cleaner and filtration more efficient.
This way, all our guests can enjoy a carefree and hygienic spa experience.
