Temazcal ceremony
The Temazcal originates from ancient Mexico and was an important tradition among the indigenous peoples of Central America. The word Temazcal (Temazcalli) comes from Nahuatl and literally means “house of heat.” This sweat lodge was traditionally used as a ritual to purify the body and promote health. Volcanic stones played a central role; they were heated and then placed in the center of the lodge, where water was poured over them to create steam. You will be guided by the rhythmic sounds of instruments such as the shamanic drum for a truly unique experience.
Rhassoul scrub ritual
During this steam temple ritual, your body is cleansed with a fragrant eucalyptus infusion that opens the airways, refreshes, and revitalizes the body. This is followed by a refreshing sea salt scrub with mint, which exfoliates and invigorates the skin. After rinsing, a traditional Rhassoul clay treatment, rich in minerals such as magnesium from the Atlas Mountains, nourishes and purifies your skin. Everything your skin needs on a sauna day is found in Rhassoul clay.
