Are bathrobes, towels and slipper mandatory?
It is mandatory to wear a bathrobe in the restaurants and relax areas. To maintain our hygiene standards, the use of towels and slippers is mandatory during your visit to the spa. You can rent bathrobes and towels at the reception desk (€14,50). Slippers are for sale (€8,50). It is also permitted to bring your own bathrobe, towels and slippers.
Are there special swimwear days?
Every Tuesday is a swimwear day. On this day, it is mandatory to wear swimwear. On all other days, swimwear is not permitted.
Note: From September 1st 2020 we organize extra swimwear days at Zuiver. From this date we organize special swimwear days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays! Swimwear is mandatory on these days.
Are there special days just for women or just for men?
We do not have special days for just women or men. All days are mixed.
Are there currently any facilities out of order?
There are currently no facilities out of order.
Do I have to pay in advance?
Payment occurs after your visit to the spa. When you arrive at the spa you will be given a wristband which you'll wear throughout your visit to the spa. It gives you access to the spa and also fucntions as your digital wallet. Anything you consume in our bars and restaurants, and any treatments you undergo, will be charged to the wristband. You will settle the entire bill at the reception after your visit to the spa.
Any vouchers or discount coupons should be shown when checking in. Gift cards can be used when checking out and settling the bill.

Is there an area available where I can express breast milk?
Zuiver has a room available where you can express breast milk. The milk can be stored away in a fridge. Please inquire at the beauty reception desk about the location of this room.
Can I use the sauna facilities whilst pregnant?
In the case of a healthy pregnancy, you can use the sauna facilities. However, it is recommended you contact your doctor/midwife prior to your visit. There are a number of facilities which you should not use whilst pregnant: the infrared sauna (deep intense sensation), plunge baths, aromabath and whirlpools (for threat of infection). To cool down you are best to use a cold shower. Make sure to listen to your body.
What is the minimum age to visit the spa?
The minimum age in the spa is 18 years old.
Do you have lockers?
Yes, there are sufficient lockers available. When you check in you'll receive a wristband which can be used to activate the lockers. The wristband also functions as your digital wallet. Everything you consume at the bars and/or restaurants, and any treatments you undergo, will be scanned onto the wristband. You can pay at the reception when you are leaving the spa.
Can I use my mobile telephone/ tablet/ laptop in the spa?
The use of mobile phones, tablets, laptops or any other electronic devices is not permitted due to the privacy of our guests. Taking photographs or videos is strictly prohibited.
What is a löyly session?
During a löyly session, sometimes called aufguss, the sauna master pours water, enriched with aromatic oils, onto the sauna heater. The water vapour is then waved around the room. You will enjoy being enveloped by the lovely aromas and heat.
Is it possible to park near Spa Sport Hotel Zuiver and what are the costs?
Zuiver offers parking on its own property. The hourly rate is €2,70.
Can I charge my electric car at Zuiver?
At Zuiver we have 4 parking spots outfitted with an electric car charger.
Is the Spa accessible for guests with a disability and / or in a wheelchair?
There are lifts available between the reception, changing rooms and beauty department. However, keep in mind the Spa itself has a lot of stairs and steps. Our Spa facilities are not very well accessible by wheelchair.
Is there a special discount available if I visit your Spa on my birthday?
We don't have specials offers for your birthday at the moment.
Vouchers and coupons
I have a voucher or coupon. Can I use them by showing them on my mobile phone?
Yes, you can scan your voucher / coupon at the reception.
Can I use my Vakantieveilingen ticket after its expiry date?
All tickets with an expiry date after March 1, 2020 can be returned until June 1, 2021. Of course, this only applies to tickets that have not yet been redeemed. A redemption takes place when you have entered our spa.
Do you offer any package deals that include overnight stays in your hotel?
We have a beautiful hotel with a total of 31 rooms, including 2 Junior Suites. Make your spa visit extra special and reserve an overnight stay at Spa Sport Hotels Zuiver.
Do you offer any complete package deals?
Sure. We have put together several package deals at different price levels. We have a fitting deal for each guest. Please visit our package deal page for a complete overview.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
It is not permitted to bring your own food and drinks. Our restaurants and relax area’s offer food and beverages.
I have lost something in the spa?
If you have lost an item please contact our service centre via firstname.lastname@example.org. Zuiver cannot be held accountable for missing items or theft of personal property. Furthermore Zuiver is not responsible for any harm or damage done to persons and/ or property.
Where do you purchase your furnitures and lamps?
Our furniture and lamps are purchased at Sateliet. For more information: www.sateliet.net
Is it possible to take part in the loyly sessions?
Everyday there are loyly’s available. The times are: 11.30, 13.00, 14.30, 16.00, 18.00, 19.30 and 21.00. The loyly’s are only permitted to be undertaken by our sauna masters. It is not permitted for guests to pour water or scented oils on the heaters.
Is personal grooming permitted?
Personal grooming such as brushing teeth, shaving ,etc. is not permitted.
Is smoking permitted at Spa Sport Hotel Zuiver?
Smoking is not permitted, with exception of the designated smoking areas located outside.
Are there area’s where silence is required?
To ensure all guests can relax, silence is desirable within all the facilities. It is clearly stated in which facilities silence is necessary.
Are shampoo, showergel and scubbinggels available in the spa?
Yes, these are available and free of charge.
How do you deal with abusive and disruptive behaviour?
Abusive behaviour (verbal and non-verbal) and sexual harassment is not tolerated. Guests who do not abide by these rules will be asked to leave Zuiver, after payment, immediately.
Are there sunbeds available?
The spa has 4 sunbeds. You can use these without a reservation. The costs are €10 for 10 minutes.
